HANOI — Qualcomm has acquired the AI research business of Vietnamese conglomerate Vingroup, in a deal that the U.S. chipmaker says will expand its capabilities in generative AI.
In a statement on its website on Wednesday, Qualcomm said it was acquiring Movian AI, formerly a division of Vingroup’s broader AI unit VinAI.
