NAGOYA, Japan — Toyota Motor’s North American subsidi has informed local auto parts makers that it plans to help with rising costs associated with tariffs announced by Washington, Nikkei has learned.
The U.S. imposed an additional 25% tariff on all imported vehicles on Thursday. The levy will soon apply to engines and other key components, too.
