Textbook distribution for academic year 2025-26 begins across Sindh
In a significant step towards ensuring timely access to educational resources, the Sindh Textbook Board has officially begun distributing textbooks for the academic year 2025-26.
The initiative, launched on the directives of Sindh Minister for Education Syed Sardar Ali Shah, aims to provide students with learning materials at the very start of the academic session.
To mark the beginning of this large-scale distribution process, a formal ceremony was held on Saturday at the Sindh Textbook Board headquarters in Jamshoro.
The event was attended by prominent officials including Chairman Parvez Ahmed Baloch and Secret Dr. Nusrat Parvez Sehto, along with various educational administrators from the region.
During the ceremony, textbooks were officially handed over to taluka-level education officers from Jamshoro, symbolizing the commencement of the province-wide distribution campaign.
Speaking at the event, officials reaffirmed their commitment to streamlining the textbook supply process to avoid delays and ensure every student across Sindh has the required learning materials from day one of school.
This move is part of broader education sector reforms aimed at improving access, quality, and equity in public education throughout the province.
