BENGALURU — Software exporter Infosys on Thursday reported a larger-than-expected fall in revenue in its last quarter, a week after its bigger rival Tata Consultancy Services posted lackluster figures, signaling that Washington’s tariff war could deal another blow to Indian technology companies.

India’s second largest software exporter said revenue fell 4.2% sequentially to $4.73 billion in the Janu-March quarter, while net profit rose 1.1% to $813 million. Financial advisory Centrum had expected revenue to slip 0.9%.
