JAKARTA — Tariff negotiations with U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration are expected to last up to 60 days in multiple rounds, a minister leading the Indonesian delegation said after their first talk.
Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto met with the U.S. Secret of Commerce Howard Lutnick and officials from the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) in Washington on Thursday, becoming one of the first Asian countries to officially launch negotiations along with peers like Japan.
