TOKYO — Nissan Motor on Thursday announced a significant downgrade to its full-year earnings forecast for the year ended in March, another blow as the automaker faces a struggle for survival.
The embattled Japanese company said it now expects to post a net loss of 700 billion to 750 billion yen ($4.91 billion to $5.26 billion) for fiscal 2024, its biggest loss ever. It had previously expected a net loss of 80 billion yen.
