Pakistan’s historic response to Indian aggression
In a historic move, Pakistan has declared India’s recent actions, particularly the Pahalgam incident, as an “act of war” and responded with sweeping countermeasures.
Following a high-level National Security Committee (NSC) meeting led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Pakistan has suspended all trade with India, closed its airspace to Indian aircraft, and sealed the Wagah border.
Officials say these actions will immediately impact India’s economy and regional connectivity. Pakistan has also signaled that bilateral agreements, including the Shimla Accord, may be reconsidered, accusing Prime Minister Modi of undoing decades of diplomacy with a single misstep.
The NSC’s statement reflects a united national stance against what it called India’s “fascist Hindutva ideology,” and Islamabad is preparing to raise the issue on global platforms. The government made it clear that any further provocation will be met with a stronger and decisive response.
