COAS General Asim Munir Witnesses “Hammer Strike” Field Training Exercise
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir witnessed the “Hammer Strike” field training exercise being conducted under the Mangla Corps.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the exercise is taking place at the Tilla Firing Range under the leadership of the Mangla Strike Corps.
Upon his arrival, the Army Chief was received by the Corps Commander. General Asim Munir appreciated the professional skills, preparedness, and dedication of the officers and troops participating in the exercise.
Speaking on the occasion, the Army Chief sent a clear message to India, stating that any misadventure by the advers would be met with an immediate and forceful response. He emphasized that no one should remain under any illusion — the Pakistan Army is fully prepared to deal with any challenge.
General Asim Munir reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace but affirmed that the nation is ready to pay any price to safeguard its national interests and the ideological and geographical boundaries of the country.
He further stated that the armed forces are always ready to defend the motherland under all circumstances.
