CDA, Chief Pays Tribute to Firefighters on International Firefighters’ Day
International Firefighters Day is being observed today to commemorate the bravery and sacrifice of firefighters and their valuable contributions to make communities and environment safe.
It is a day to honour those firefighters, who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
On the occasion of International Firefighters’ Day, Chairman CDA & Chief Commissioner ICT, Muhammad Ali Randhawa paid heartfelt tribute to the courage, commitment, and sacrifice of CDA’s Emergency & Disaster Management firefighters.
Chairman Randhawa commended their tireless efforts in safeguarding lives and property, while also highlighting recent advancements under his leadership — including the introduction of modern fire tenders and cutting-edge technology to strengthen Islamabad’s emergency response system.
With over 2,900 emergency calls managed in the past year alone, CDA firefighters continue to serve with unmatched dedication. The administration deeply values their bravery and essential role in protecting our city.
