Sindh announces to launch Talent Hunt Programme

KARACHI the Sindh Department of Culture has launched the “Sindh Talent Hunt Programme” to identify and nurture young artists across the province

Karachi: The government has also decided to increase efforts to protect our historical buildings by tightening monitoring systems to ensure their preservation.

During a high-level meeting chaired Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, the department approved the launch of the “Sindh Talent Hunt Programme” to identify and nurture cultural talent across the region.

A monitoring mechanisms will be implemented to protect historical heritage buildings, following public outrage over the demolition of the Kanji and Cowasjee buildings.

The government has also decided to connect the Sindh Archives with the British Libr to help preserve important historical records for future generations.

Moreover, free internet services will be made available at popular tourist spots to improve the experience for visitors.

Shah Latif’s Poetry Now on Mobile

Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah also shared that the poetry of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai is now available on mobile phones making it accessible to a wider audience. Additionally, recordings of legend singers are being made available on social media platforms for the public to enjoy.

The government is introducing modern technology at Mohenjo-Daro to upgrade the site, and it is translating its history into 15 languages to reach a global audience

Development of Resorts at Keenjhar Lake

The Minister also shared exciting news about the development of resorts at Keenjhar Lake, with plans to improve facilities for tourists. He said efforts are also underway to make accommodations at tourist resorts more affordable by reducing prices.

Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah said under the leadership of Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah significant steps are being taken in the fields of culture and tourism.

He also mentioned that in line with Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s vision the government is focused on providing better facilities and services to the people.
