NEW DELHI — Tensions between India and Pakistan have shown no signs of easing since a deadly attack on tourists in Kashmir, with Pakistan testing a 120-kilometer-range missile on Monday and continuous gunfire reported at the border. 

The Pakistani milit said in a statement that the missile launch was aimed at ensuring the operational readiness of troops and validating key technical data, including the missile’s advanced navigation system and improved accuracy.
