TOKYO — Chinese President Xi Jinping is set to hold talks with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, in Moscow on Thursday, underlining the neighbors’ warm yet complex bilateral ties as the U.S. grows frustrated with the Kremlin’s refusal to end the war in Ukraine.
Xi is also expected to join leaders from nearly 30 developing countries at a Victory Day parade on Friday, when Russia marks the 80th year of the Soviet and Allied defeat of Nazi Germany in World War II.
