Resham critiques the attitudes of Hania Aamir and Fawad Khan toward patriotism
- Resham criticized Pakistani celebrities for showing more loyalty to India due to their professional ties.
- She called out retired Indian Major Gaurav Arya for insulting Pakistani actors.
- Resham expressed readiness to go to the border when needed.
Resham stood out as one of the few Pakistani celebrities who passionately supported Pakistan during the recent Pakistan–India conflict. She openly praised the Pakistan Army, Navy, Air Force, and Police for their unwavering commitment and bravery in defending the nation during challenging times.
Recently, Resham appeared on a TV podcast hosted by Naeem Hanif, where she criticized Pakistani celebrities who, in her view, show more loyalty to India due to their professional ties. She also directly called out retired Indian Major Gaurav Arya for insulting Pakistani actors.
Talking about it, Resham said, ” Who is Major Gaurav Arya to insult our actors. How dare he call Pakistani artists worth two pennies ( do takey k adakar). He said that worthless Pakistani actors earn through India, and he himself is a barking dog worth two pennies. Pakistanis never worked in India by forcing them. It is always a mutual contract. Also, I feel so sad that many of our artists spoke after they were banned in India. Okay, I understand that they were working in India, but when it comes to the motherland, they should stand firm with their country. I believe we should render our services to the armed forces. I am ready to go to the border. We should be like that when our country needs us.”
