Changan Increases Alsvin Prices- Check Latest Rates Here
Changan Pakistan has announced a substantial price hike for its popular sedan, the Alsvin. According to the company’s official notification, the revised prices will be effective from May 1, 2025.
All variants of the Alsvin have seen a Rs. 250,000 increase. Here are the updated prices:
Variant Old Price (PKR) New Price (PKR) Difference
Alsvin 1.3L Manual Comfort 3,929,000 4,179,000 250,000
Alsvin 1.5L DCT Comfort 4,239,000 4,489,000 250,000
Alsvin 1.5L DCT Lumiere 4,499,000 4,749,000 250,000
While Changan has not officially stated the reasons, industry analysts attribute the hike to several factors:
Continuous depreciation of the Pakistani Rupee
Rising costs of imported auto parts
Increased production and logistics expenses
This is the second price revision by Changan in 2025, indicating ongoing economic challenges in the auto sector.
The price surge is a setback for budget-conscious buyers seeking affordable sedans. Changan Alsvin had gained traction in Pakistan for its fuel efficiency, modern features, and competitive pricing.
Changan’s move follows recent price hikes by Pak Suzuki and Toyota Indus Motor Company earlier this year. Experts predict this trend will persist until currency stability and clearer import policies are in place.
