Gold prices drop by Rs 6,700 in Pakistan
KARACHI: The Gold prices in Pakistan have dropped for the second consecutive day here on Thursday.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs. 6,700 per tola, bringing the new rate down to Rs. 335,200 per tola.
According to the association, the price of 10 grams of gold is reduced by Rs 5,745 to Rs 287,379.
The price of gold in the global market witnessed a sharp decline, falling by $67 to reach $3,168 per ounce.
This marks the second consecutive day of decline, as gold prices also recorded a downward trend yesterday.
Earlier, price of gold in Pakistan witnessed a notable decrease on Wednesday, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs. 2,300, bringing it down to Rs. 341,900.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs. 1,972, now standing at Rs. 293,124.
On the international level, gold prices also declined, with the rate dropping by $23 to $3,235 per ounce.
