A school bus in Khuzdar, Balochistan, was targeted in a terrorist attack, according to Pakistan Army’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). The assault struck a bus carrying innocent schoolchildren. Initial reports indicate five people, including three children, lost their lives. Several other children were also hurt in the blast.
The ISPR stated that the attack in Khuzdar was planned in India. They alleged that Indian proxies operating in Balochistan carried out this “heinous plan.” The milit’s media wing added that India is using proxies for terrorism in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to failures in direct conflict.
Separately, the Deputy Commissioner of Khuzdar reported that 35 children were injured in the explosion. Those injured have been taken to Combined Milit Hospital (CMH) Khuzdar, where they are now receiving medical attention.
The Deputy Commissioner also confirmed that the site of the incident is being secured. Authorities are actively collecting evidence from the scene to aid their investigation.
