55,642 Pakistani Hajj pilgrims arrive in Saudi Arabia
55,642 Pakistani Hajj pilgrims have landed in Saudi Arabia so far via 244 flights.
Religious Affairs’ Ministry spokesperson Muhammad Umar Butt said 4,558 more pilgrims are scheduled to arrive today through 19 flights.
He said the Hajj flight operation will continue till 31st of this month.
The spokesperson said that preparations are going well to accommodate pilgrims in Mina and Arafat.
He mentioned that pilgrims, referred to as the Guests of Allah, are being served high-quality meals in both Makkah and Madinah.
Umar Butt said all pilgrims have been given accommodation near Masjid-e-Nabawi (SAWW) in the Markaziya area. In Makkah, they are staying in Aziziyah, Batha Quraish, and Naseem.
He also said that the Minister for Religious Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, is expected to visit Saudi Arabia soon to check the Hajj arrangements. During his visit, he will also meet with Saudi officials.
