SYDNEY — Australia’s political Liberal-National coalition is back together, reunited after a brief split that came in the wake of their major election defeat on May 3.
al Party left the alliance — which has endured for eighty years, albeit with a few tempor breaks — last Tuesday. Its leader, David Littleproud, said the party walked away because it was unable to secure commitments from its Liberal counterparts to four policies including nuclear energy.
