TOKYO — A Japanese company is bringing its kitchen robots to the U.S., anticipating demand in a short-staffed restaurant industry where labor costs are high.
TechMagic, which opened a Los Angeles subsidi in Janu, is expected to secure UL safety certification for its I-Robo2 stir-fry robot as early as this month. Trials have begun at U.S. restaurants and stores.
