Oppo Find N5 foldable expected to launch in early 2025
Oppo is developing its next-generation foldable smartphone, the Find N5, which will launch in 2025. While Oppo has not disclosed official details about the successor to the Find N3, recent leaks offer some insights into its design, features, and release timeline.
Expected Launch Date
According to a Weibo tipster, Smart Pikachu, the Oppo Find N5 will likely debut between Janu and March in the first quarter of 2025. It is expected to launch alongside the Oppo Find X8 Ultra, another highly anticipated model in the lineup.
Expected Features and Specs
The Oppo Find N5 is rumored to have a slimmer profile than its predecessor, the Find N3, which measures 5.8 mm when unfolded and 11.7 mm when folded. Additionally, the Find N5 is anticipated to have a more durable frame, providing enhanced protection.
The foldable smartphone is expected to feature a circular camera module with impressive capabilities: a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. Powering the device will be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, ensuring top-tier performance.
One significant upgrade will be Oppo’s magnetic wireless charging support, which will make the Find N5 compatible with Apple’s ecosystem, similar to the upcoming Find X8 Ultra. This feature represents a major improvement, as the Find N3 does not support wireless charging.
The Oppo Find N5 promises to bring enhanced performance, camera quality, and compatibility, making it a strong contender in the foldable phone market in 2025.
