A man was arrested at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City overnight in connection with the car bombing last month outside a Palm Springs fertility clinic, two people familiar with the matter said.

The man was identified as Daniel Park of Washington state, three people familiar with the matter told NBC News.

Two sources said the FBI and Port Authority police arrested Park on a federal warrant out of California. He is expected to make his initial court appearance Wednesday afternoon in Brooklyn federal court.

Investigators have been looking into Park to see whether he helped provide materials for the bomb, the two sources said.

The car bombing on May 17 outside a California fertility clinic killed one person and injured four.

The prim suspect, Guy Edward Bartkus, died in the attack. The attack appeared to be driven by anti-natalist ideology, two senior law enforcement officials previously told NBC News.
