CANBERRA — Australia and the European Union will resume stalled talks on a trade deal, as turmoil sparked by U.S. President Donald Trump’s aggressive tariff blitz pushes countries to bolster trade alternatives to America. 

Australian Minister for Trade Don Farrell met with EU Trade Commissioner Maros Sefcovic in Paris on Wednesday. He told Australia’s Sydney Morning Herald that both sides agreed to restart negotiations for a trade pact.
