NAIROBI — Facing the prospect of heavy U.S. tariffs and a broader turn toward protectionism, Kenya will work toward greater economic integration with the rest of Africa and seek trade opportunities in Asia, Investments, Trade and Industry Secret Lee Kinyanjui told Nikkei.
“Many of the Western nations are likely to be more inward-looking,” Kinyanjui said. “This will affect big nations, small nations. But the impact on the smaller nations is going to be bigger.”
