FUKUOKA, Japan — A maker of wheeled farm equipment whose machines are now being put to use by global communities rebuilding after wildfires is expanding the capacity of its main plant so it can further develop overseas markets.
Chikusui Canycom, based in Japan’s Fukuoka prefecture, has sold its products in 55 countries. President Yoshimitsu Kaneyuki frequently travels abroad to help market his company’s products. Turkey, Malaysia and the U.S. are among the countries he has recently visited.
