US denies any role in Israeli attacks
Washington: The United States(US) on Friday clarified that it had no involvement in the Israeli airstrikes on Iran.
In an official statement, Secret of State Marco Rubio emphasized that the operation was unilateral and carried out solely by Israel. He reiterated that the protection of American forces in the region remains Washington’s top priority.

He added that Israel informed Washington it deemed the operation necess for its national defense, but emphasized that Iran must refrain from targeting American personnel or interests in any form of retaliation.
Meanwhile, American news outlets report that President Donald Trump has convened an emergency cabinet meeting at the White House to assess the developing situation and coordinate any necess responses.
The meeting comes amid growing concern over the possibility of a broader regional conflict and potential threats to US diplomatic missions and milit installations in the Middle East.
Earlier, Israel has launched a major preemptive airstrike campaign on Iran, targeting multiple nuclear and milit sites, triggering a severe escalation in regional tensions.
According to Israeli milit officials, the air campaign hit dozens of sites across Iran, including strategic facilities and installations believed to be associated with Iran’s nuclear weapons development.
Iranian state media has confirmed the deaths of high-ranking figures in the strikes. Iran has closed its airspace and mobilized its armed forces, with officials warning of an imminent retaliatory response. Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has vowed that Israel will face grave consequences for what he termed a “Zionist crime.”
