ISLAMABAD:  Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the recent Israeli airstrikes on Iran, expressing deep concern over the potential for further regional instability.

In his statement, the Prime Minister extended solidarity with the Iranian people, acknowledging the losses caused by the attacks. He warned that the already volatile region risks becoming even more destabilized.

“The international community and the United Nations must act immediately to prevent further escalation,” said PM Sharif, adding that worsening tensions could pose a serious threat to regional and global peace.

Earlier, Pakistan has strongly condemned the recent Israeli airstrikes on Iran, terming them a blatant violation of Iran’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and international law.

In a statement issued by the Foreign Office, Pakistan declared that Israel’s milit actions violate the United Nations Charter and pose a grave threat to regional and global peace.

“Under Article 51 of the UN Charter, Iran has the full right to self-defense,” the Foreign Office emphasized.

Pakistan urged the international community and the United Nations to take immediate steps to halt Israeli aggression, warning that continued provocations could lead to serious destabilization in the region.
