Iran Launches Missiles at Jerusalem and Tel Aviv After Israeli Strikes on Tehran, Netanyahu’s Home Targeted
In response to Israeli attacks in Tehran, Iran has once again fired ballistic missiles at Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Israel had earlier launched a major strike on Tehran, targeting the naval headquarters, government buildings, and water facilities. In retaliation, Iran also targeted the home of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Caesarea.
The conflict between Israel and Iran escalated further on Sunday. Israel struck Iranian naval headquarters, government buildings, water facilities, and main pipelines. Smoke was seen rising from various locations across Tehran.
Israeli forces have begun targeting buildings related to justice, law, intelligence, and other government sectors, along with water infrastructure. Israeli bombardment continues at multiple sites across Tehran.
In response, Iran launched ballistic missiles at Israel, triggering sirens in northern and central parts of the country. The Israeli milit instructed citizens to take shelter. According to the Israeli army, its air defense system is actively working to intercept Iran’s latest missiles.
The Israeli government has extended the state of emergency until June 30. The Israeli milit reported that it targeted 170 Iranian milit positions using 50 aircraft, including sites linked to the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps and Iran’s defense systems.
Arab media reported that explosions near the Iranian parliament building in central Tehran caused fires. Blasts were also reported near Taleghani Street and Valiasr Square. An Israeli drone strike on a police headquarters in Tehran left several people injured.
Earlier, on Saturday and into Sunday night, Iran had launched a wave of hypersonic ballistic missiles on Haifa and other Israeli cities. Iran declared that it had given Israel a glimpse of hell on earth.
In the latest attacks, Israel suffered significant casualties, with 14 civilians killed and over 150 injured. Prior to this, Iran had claimed to have shot down 10 Israeli aircraft during a previous Israeli assault.
