The Hague: U.S. President Donald Trump publicly commended Iran for its bravery during recent conflicts and hinted at upcoming diplomatic negotiations.

President Trump, commenting on the recent American strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities, compared them to the attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, hinting that talks with Tehran are expected next week.

At the conclusion of the NATO summit in The Hague, President Trump stated: “If you look at Hiroshima, if you look at Nagasaki, you know those attacks ended a war. The war ended in a different way, but the destruction was extremely severe.”

U.S. Strikes and Regional Stability

Trump confirmed that U.S. bunker-buster bombs had completely destroyed Iran’s underground Fordo nuclear facility, describing the damage as “extremely severe” and asserting that the strikes have established peace and stability in the region.

He emphasized that NATO allies will now increase their defense spending to 5% of GDP, marking a historic boost to collective security efforts.

Trump expressed optimism, noting that “talks with Iran could happen next week” and that the United States remains open to negotiations globally. He acknowledged Iran’s need for reconstruction funds and highlighted China’s willingness to purchase Iranian oil as factors in future diplomacy.

Iran-Israel Conflict and Ceasefire

Following Israel’s strikes on Iranian milit and nuclear targets on June 13, which resulted in significant casualties among Iranian leadership and scientists, Tehran launched retaliatory operations dubbed ‘Promise of Truth III.’ A ceasefire was mediated by President Trump on June 24, bringing tempor relief to a region on the brink of escalation.

Trump mentioned that the war has now ended and situations are heading towards improvement.

In last during a conversation, the American president also said that Field Marshal Asim Munir is an excellent person and an inspiring figure. He mentioned that they had visited his office. During a press conference, he reiterated that they have ended the war between Pakistan and India. Both countries are major nuclear powers, and he advised trade between India and Pakistan.

Donald Trump further stated that his president, Putin, and the Ukrainian president are facing issues, while Saudi Arabia and the UAE have promised to invest billions of dollars.
