SEOUL — With the second season of the hugely popular South Korean drama “Squid Game” due out Thursday on Netflix, companies are launching collaborations with the series featuring products from cars to dumplings.

The show revolves around a competition in which heavily indebted contestants risk their lives at children’s games for a chance at a massive cash prize, showcasing human psychology and the absurdity of society. The first season, which came out in 2021, won six Emmy awards.
