Mam Nawaz awards scholarships, encourages students to focus on education

Chief Minister Mam Nawaz Sharif urged students to prioritize their studies and avoid becoming instruments for others’ agendas.

Addressing the Honhar Scholarship Programme ceremony at Bahauddin Zakariya University, she congratulated the scholarship recipients and their families, emphasizing her commitment to education.

She announced plans to expand the scholarship program and questioned why government resources had not been allocated to students in the past 75 years. Mam highlighted that scholarships were awarded purely on merit, without any political recommendations.

She also discussed the distribution of modern laptops and interest-free loans of up to Rs. 30 million for young entrepreneurs, set to launch next week. Mam emphasized the importance of staying focused, respecting diverse viewpoints, and ensuring no student is deprived of higher education due to financial constraints.
