Country bereft of justice, peace and democracy, says Siraj ul Haq
Former Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) emir Siraj ul Haq criticized the current state of the country, stating on Sunday that it lacked justice, peace, and democracy.
Speaking at a press conference in Vehari, Haq expressed deep concern about the various challenges the country is facing, lamenting that those in power remain indifferent to the suffering of ordin citizens.
Siraj ul Haq highlighted the growing disconnect between the ruling elite and the struggles of the common people, emphasizing the severe socioeconomic hardships they face.
He expressed that the people are in a dire situation, unable to even afford basic necessities like flour.
Accusing the government of failing to address the increasing challenges, Siraj ul Haq declared that Jamaat-e-Islami is the true representative of the people’s issues.
He further criticized the current leadership for lacking the vision and determination to resolve the problems facing the masses.
