In a shocking incident, Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was stabbed during a burgl attempt at his Mumbai residence on Thursday, leaving fans and the entertainment industry in disbelief. Saif, who suffered multiple injuries, including wounds near his spine and neck, was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he is undergoing emergency surgery.
Following the attack, Saif’s team released a statement, saying, “There was an attempted burgl at Mr. Saif Ali Khan’s residence. He is currently in the hospital undergoing surgery. We request the media and fans to be patient. It is a police matter. We will keep you updated on the situation.”
Jr NTR, Saif’s Devara co-star, expressed his shock on X, writing, “Shocked and saddened to hear about the attack on Saif sir. Wishing and praying for his speedy recovery and good health.” Meanwhile, Pooja Bhatt questioned the state of law and order, tweeting, “Law & Order. We have laws… what about order?”
Fans also reacted to the incident, with one user commenting, “This is sad and shocking to hear.” Others wished Saif a speedy recovery, with one remarking, “If such a big star isn’t safe in Mumbai, think about normal citizens.”
BJP leader Ram Kadam addressed the issue, stating, “The police will investigate the incident, and no one will be spared. It is their responsibility to ensure such an incident does not repeat.”
