Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan was spotted outside her Bandra residence in Mumbai following a burgl attempt that left her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan, injured.
The Singham 3 actrees, visibly anxious, stood with her staff as concerns grew about the safety of the celebrity couple.
In an official statement, the couple’s team confirmed the incident: “There was an attempted burgl at Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s residence last night. Saif sustained an injury to his arm and is currently in the hospital undergoing treatment.” The statement further reassured fans, saying, “The rest of the family is doing well. We kindly request media and fans to refrain from speculation as the police are conducting their investigation.”
Reports indicate that Kareena, 44, was home with her children, Taimur and Jeh, when the burgl occurred. According to Lilavati Hospital’s Dr. Niraj Uttamani, Saif sustained “six injuries, two of which are deeper. One of the wounds is dangerously close to his spine.”
The burgl reportedly took place at 2:30 am when an intruder entered the home. Saif attempted to stop the burglar and was stabbed during the altercation.
While Saif has undergone surgeries and his condition remains stable, police are continuing their investigation. No suspects have been arrested yet.
