Gold rate in Pakistan on Jan 16 up by Rs1,400 to Rs282,200/tola
The gold rate in Pakistan further increased by Rs1,400 to Rs282,200 per tola in the local market on Thursday (Jan 16).
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs1,200, bringing it to Rs241,941, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Wednesday, the gold price per tola surged by Rs2,900, settling at Rs280,800.
The global gold rate also saw an upward trend on Thursday. According to APGJSA, the price reached $2,703 per ounce (including a $20 premium), marking a $13 increase during the day.
In addition, the price of silver climbed by Rs83, reaching Rs3,433 per tola.
