Court maintains arrest warrant for KP CM Gandapur
ISLAMABAD: The local court of Islamabad has upheld the arrest warrant of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur in the arms and liquor case.
Judge Mubashir Hassan Chishti of the District and Sessions Court of Islamabad heard the case of illegal arms and liquor recovery against Ali Amin Gandapur.
In the hearing of the case, the court expressed its displeasure over the non-compliance of the arrest warrant and told the lawyer that on every date apply for an exemption.
The session judge said that you are only wasting the valuable time of the court by filing exceptions, several warrants have been issued for Ali Amin Gandapur.
The compliance report is not being submitted, on this the lawyer pleaded to the court to decide on the plea of acquittal. There is a relevant court order.
Later, the court rejected Ali Amin Gandapur’s plea for exemption from attendance, upheld his arrest warrant and ordered him to appear before the court on Janu 29.
