Cold and dry weather to persist across country
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted cold and dry weather across most parts of the country for the next 24 hours, with extremely cold conditions expected in mountainous areas during the morning and night.
The PMD explained that the current weather pattern is due to the dominance of continental air in the region.
Over the past 24 hours, the weather has been cold and dry nationwide, with the hilly regions experiencing particularly harsh cold conditions.
Leh recorded the lowest temperature in the country on Friday, dropping to -12 degrees Celsius.
