Pakistan has this year witnessed a sharp resurgence in terror-related activities. The country recorded 2,236 terrorist attacks in 2024, with Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) being most affected with 96% of all activities, according to the South Asia Terrorism Portal.
