TOKYO — Japan’s Prime Minister on Thursday sounded the alarm after U.S. President Donald Trump announced 25% tariffs on imported cars and car parts.

“We need to consider appropriate responses,” Shigeru Ishiba told lawmakers during a parliament session. “All options will be on the table.”
