Punjab will soon introduce its first-ever ‘Sahulat-on-the-Go bazaars,’ following the approval of Chief Minister of Punjab Mam Nawaz Sharif.

In a special meeting, Chief Minister Mam Nawaz Sharif reviewed the project and directed officials to launch a pilot phase at 14 locations in Lahore within four months.

The government plans to utilize roadside land for these bazaars, setting up 816 stalls where essential food items will be available at standard prices.

The pilot project will cover areas such as Multan Road, Raiwind, Faisal Town, Moon Market, and several others. Cleanliness and security will be prioritized, and there are plans to expand the project to every tehsil in Punjab.

Meanwhile, efforts are also underway to improve parks across Punjab, including Rawalpindi City. Under the Chief Minister’s leadership, authorities have taken action to enhance cleanliness, remove encroachments, and address illegal activities on Murree Road.

Additionally, Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb led a detailed review meeting to oversee these improvements and ensure their smooth execution.
