MUMBAI — The Reserve Bank of India on Wednesday cut its key policy rate for a second consecutive time, opting to support economic growth as cooling inflation provided room for dovish actions, and as further pain from U.S. tariffs loomed.

The RBI became the first central bank in Asia to tweak its monet policy following U.S. President Donald Trump’s tariff policy implemented last week that has rattled global markets.
