Vedang Raina opens up about Hrithik Roshan’s heartwarming compliment: ‘It Felt Special’

Vedang Raina made his acting debut in 2023 with the Netflix movie “The Archies”. At the grand premiere in Mumbai, attended by the   film industry people, Vedang received a big compliment from Hrithik Roshan. Recalling the moment recently, Vedang shared that hearing praise from his longtime idol felt like a dream come true.

In a recent interview, Vedang Raina shared that he spoke to Hrithik Roshan at “The Archies” premiere when asked if he interacted with any big stars at the event. Vedang, who has frequently expressed his admiration for the “Krrish” actor, recalled the moment with excitement.

Vedang Raina said, “That was a dream because I have always admired him.” He revealed that he grew up as a huge fan of Hrithik Roshan’s movies. Recalling the moment, Vedang shared that Hrithik told him, “Well done” or something like “You danced well.” Reacting to the compliment, Vedang added, “And I was like, ‘You’ve said this; it’s over for me.’”

Vedang mentioned that he also chatted with other stars, including Shah Rukh Khan. He described the premiere as one of the most “memorable” and “special” nights of his life.

In “The Archies”, Vedang Raina played the role of Reggie Mantle. The cast also featured Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan, Mihir Ahuja, Aditi ‘Dot’ Saigal, and Yuvraj Menda. Directed by Zoya Akhtar, the film is a teen musical comedy adapted from the popular comics of the same name. Viewers can stream “The Archies” on Netflix.

Vedang made his big-screen debut in the prison break action thriller “Jigra”, where he portrayed Alia Bhatt’s brother in the Vasan Bala directorial. The film, however, did not perform well at the box office.
