Rain, thunderstorms predicted this evening in Karachi

Karachi is expected to experience thunderstorms and rain starting this evening, according to the Meteorological Department. A system of western winds is affecting the city and will likely stay until May 10.

Deputy Director Anjum Nazir Ziagham said that three phases of these winds will hit the area, bringing chances of thunderstorms, lightning, and rain in different parts of the city.

The department also mentioned that sea breezes will start returning this evening. In the next few days, temperatures could go up to 37°C.

People are advised to be careful and avoid going outside during strong winds and possible storms.
