TOKYO — U.S. private equity firm KKR on Monday said it asked Fuji Soft to initiate a court filing to stop fellow American investment fund Bain Capital from using confidential information amid a bidding war to acquire the Japanese software company.
“We believe that the Board should take all necess legal actions, including seeking an injunction against Bain Capital’s unauthorized use of the confidential information,” KKR said in a letter publicized Monday.
