ISLAMABAD: A high-level Bangladeshi defence delegation, led by Lieutenant General S M Kamrul Hassan, Principal Staff Officer of the Armed Forces Division, called on Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff of the Pakistan Air Force, at Air Headquarters on Wednesday.
During the meeting, the Air Chief reiterated his commitment to strengthening milit cooperation between the two air forces through joint training programs.
According to a press release by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the leaders discussed various avenues of collaboration, including exchange programs and other joint initiatives.
Lieutenant General S M Kamrul Hassan praised the innovative projects and cutting-edge technologies spearheaded by the Pakistan Air Force under its current leadership. He expressed great interest in the indigenously developed JF-17 Thunder fighter jets and other advanced milit hardware.
The discussions underscored a strong mutual resolve to bolster milit ties, enhance cooperation, and promote robust relations between the armed forces of Bangladesh and Pakistan.
