TOKYO — Toyota Motor, Honda Motor and other Japanese automakers will work together to develop AI-powered autonomous driving under a government-backed framework announced Thursday.
The transport ministry revealed plans to set up a framework that will allow automakers to work together in developing self-driving tech assisted by artificial intelligence.
